After doing my first blog thought i would give it a try and do another one.  I also viewed textile fabrics especially orla kiely who does a range of retro style patterns.  As i am doing my spare room into my sewing studio and looking for ideas for designing my room using recycle furniture by adding colour to the room. So i will keep you all up to date on how i get on and not with too much stress.

Today on my IT course we went on the internet and  looked at vintage sewing patterns from the 1940s and 1950s.  I looked at different sites to view the patterns and also looked at dressmaking dummies to see how much they are priced at.  There are two different types one was static with just one size to them and were fairly priced for just under £30 and the other was a dummy that you can alter to your required size and was well into the £100 price range.

This IT course is very useful for getting any information that you would want and off course we have also used the art of blogging, which i am using for the first time and will continue to use hopefully!!
